Brown algae (Phaeophyceae) are most common. The habitat supports fisheries and juvenile turtles and contributes to marine carbon sequestration.||مجتمعات الطحالب الكبيرةالحالة: موئل حساس بيئيًا ضمن إمارة أبوظبي.الموقع: تنتشر على طول الساحل والجزر من حدود السعودية إلى حدود دبي.الوصف: يوجد 30 نوعًا من الطحالب الكبيرة منفصلة أو مع الأعشاب البحرية والشعاب، بغطاء يزيد عن 10% من الطحالب الوعائية ذات الجذور. الطحالب البنية (Phaeophyceae) هي الأكثر شيوعًا. يُعد الموئل حضانة للأسماك والسلاحف الصغيرة، ويساهم في احتجاز الكربون.",
