 "description": "Between May 2006 and September 2007, over 22,000 locations in Abu Dhabi Emirate were examined and categorized for soil types using satellite images. The USDA-NRCS's scientific standards were followed in this 1:100,000 scale fourth order survey, supported by lab data. Soil map units were named after the dominant or contrasting soils, typically comprising at least 50% of the unit.
