Sweet soil describes soil material used to import into and cover an area in order to improve soil conditions for the establishment and maintenance of vegetation and agricultural activities. The map shows the distribution of sweet soil sources within Abu Dhabi. All areas that contain soils with a shallow depth to gypsum, are saline, or are gravelly are considered unsuitable.
