Description: Coastal Sabkha, an eco-sensitive zone in Abu Dhabi, stretches from the Saudi border to the Abu Dhabi/Dubai border. Most of it lies between the mainland and Mirfa, with sections near the Saudi border. This salt-crusted desert is mostly barren due to high salinity, but halophytes grow where sand covers salt. Abu Dhabi has the world’s only sabkha with all four distinct layers. Though not typical Blue Carbon sites, sabkhas store historic carbon that may release if disturbed.||السبخة الساحلية، منطقة حساسة بيئيًا في أبو ظبي، تمتد من الحدود السعودية إلى الحدود بين أبو ظبي ودبي. تقع معظمها بين البر الرئيسي في أبو ظبي ومرفأ، مع أجزاء قريبة من الحدود السعودية. تعتبر هذه الصحراء الساحلية المغط
