Description: Intertidal Flats with Cyanobacterial MatsStatus: Environmentally Sensitive within Abu Dhabi emirateLocation: Found along the coast and islands from Khalifa Port to the Saudi border, with higher concentrations near islands east of Abu Dhabi Island and between Mussafah and Sila.Description: Exposed intertidal substrates with over 25% fine sediment cover (< gravel size).
