Description: <DIV STYLE="text-align:Left;"><DIV><DIV><P><SPAN>Coastal Sabkha, an eco-sensitive zone in Abu Dhabi, stretches from the Saudi border to the Abu Dhabi/Dubai border. Most of it lies between the mainland and Mirfa, with sections near the Saudi border. This salt-crusted desert is mostly barren due to high salinity, but halophytes grow where sand covers salt. Abu Dhabi has the world’s only sabkha with all four distinct layers.
