Description: Storm Beach Ridges, sandy areas with over 20% plant cover, are usually found above the high tide line, typically less than 1m high. They often trap sand from intertidal zones and are susceptible to storms. Multiple ridges can form, with older ones densely populated by halophytic chenopods, particularly Sueda Vermiculata. Species like Kentish Plover, Saunder’s Tern, and Hawksbill turtles breed here.
