Description: Soil interpretation for Irrigated Agriculture evaluates the suitability of soils in Abu Dhabi for irrigated farming. From survey data, 1,000,000 ha were identified as most suitable; 400,000 ha were further surveyed at 1:25,000 scale. Criteria: hardpan/rock depth, water table depth, salinity (0–50 cm & 50–100 cm), gypsum depth, surface texture (0–25 cm), slope, and relief. Land use not considered.||يقيّم تفسير التربة للزراعة المروية مدى ملاءمة التربة في إمارة أبوظبي لهذا الاستخدام. تم تحديد 1,000,000 هكتار كأكثر المناطق ملاءمة، منها 400,000 هكتار خضعت لمسح شبه مفصل بمقياس 1:25,000. شملت المعايير: عمق الطبقة الصلبة، منسوب المياه الجوفية، الملوحة، عمق الجبس، نسيج السطح، الانحدار، والتضاريس. لم يُؤخذ الاستخدام الحالي للأرض في الاعتبار.
