Al Ghazal is an encircling gill net used in Abu Dhabi to catch pelagic fish. On dark nights, fishermen detect fish using bioluminescence. The net is deployed in an L-shape and closed to trap fish. It hangs vertically but may not touch the seabed. From Oct–Apr, only tarad fishermen can use it. Data (2010–2012) from NFIS was mapped using IDW and Jenks method, based on 2,238 records from six landing sites.||الغزال شبكة صيد تحويطية تُستخدم لصيد الأسماك السطحية في أبوظبي. يُراقب الصيادون التوهج البيولوجي لتمييز الأسراب. تُنصب الشبكة بشكل "L" وتُغلق لإحاطة السرب. تتدلى الشبكة عموديًا دون لمس القاع. يُسمح بصيد الغزال من أكتوبر إلى أبريل فقط لصيادي الطراد. البيانات (2010–2012) من NFIS، وتم تحديد المواقع باستخدام IDW وتصنيف Jenks، بناءً على 2,238 سجلًا من ستة مواقع |
