Description: Al Defara is an encircling gill net used in shallow waters. It has a lead bottom line that closes off the sea bottom to trap fish. The net is hauled from the boat, forming a pocket to prevent escape. Use is restricted to buhoors by tarad fishermen with special rights. Data (2010–2012) from NFIS was collected via interviews using 18×18 km grid units. Fishing zones were mapped using IDW and Jenks classification, based on 381 records from Al Marfa landing site.||الدفارة شبكة صيد تحويطية تُستخدم في المياه الضحلة، بخط سفلي من الرصاص يُغلق قاع البحر لاحتجاز الأسماك. تُسحب الشبكة لتشكل جيبًا يمنع هروب الأسماك. يُسمح باستخدامها فقط داخل البحور من قبل صيادي الطراد الحاصلين على حقوق امتياز. استُمدت البيانات (2010–2012) من NFIS عبر مقابلات باستخدام شبكة بحرية 18×18 كم. تم تحديد مناطق الصيد باستخدام IDW وتصنيف Jenks، اعتمادًا على 381 سجلًا من موقع إنزال المرفأ.
