Description: Nesaab is a standing gill net placed perpendicular to the shoreline in shallow waters, forming I, L, or T shapes. It’s weighted and buoyed to cover the full water column and collected after 2–3 hours. The gear is unregulated. Data (2010–2012) from NFIS was gathered using 18×18 km grids. Fishing areas were mapped using IDW and Jenks classification, excluding values <0.05.
