Description: The 'Land Degradation' study evaluates soil components that could impede plant development. Categorizing land degradation in a heavily eroded desert is difficult. This collaboratively created evaluation diverges from traditional assessments focusing on soil's erosion susceptibility and human-induced degradation. It considers persistent natural degradation causes. Saline soil and gravel surfaces are labeled degraded, even if naturally stable. Dune systems, showing soil particle motion, are viewed as non-degraded. The ratings take into account soil's natural condition and current land use, viewing forestry or agricultural land as protected and non-degraded.||تقييم "تدهور الأرض" يقوم بتقييم مكونات التربة التي يمكن أن تعوق تطور النبات. تصنيف تدهور الأرض في صحراء متآكلة بشكل كبير يعتبر أمرًا صعبًا. يتفرع هذا التقييم الذي تم إعداده بالتعاون عن التقييمات التقليدية التي ترك
