Description: The soils of Abu Dhabi were mapped using over 22,000 site observations and satellite imagery between May 2006 and Sep 2007. The survey followed USDA-NRCS standards at 1:100,000 scale. Soil map units group areas with similar soil proportions, named by dominant types (≥50%).
