Description: <DIV STYLE="text-align:Left;"><DIV><DIV><P><SPAN>Evaluation for hardpan or rock depth evaluates the soil depth to a physical restriction that significantly reduces the movement of water and air through the soil, or that otherwise provides a significant unfavorable plant root environment and physically limits downward plant root growth. In tshi survey the interpretation identified the location and depth to a petrogypsic layer, petrocalcic layer and/or rock. Depth was measured as the vertical distance from the soil surface and the soil surface is the top of the mineral soil. Hardpans are a common and widespread feature of soils across Abu Dhabi.
