The editor has compiled the map from old charts and from his own visits to the pearl diving sites between Ras Abu Ali (Saudi Arabia ) and Ruus Al jibal (Mussandam Peninsula).||تستند مواقع الغوص على اللؤلؤ الموضحة في مجموعة البيانات هذه إلى "خريطة الغوص على اللؤلؤ في الخليج العربي بين السواحل العربية والإيرانية" التي أعدها الشيخ مانع بن راشد آل مكتوم. تحتوي الخريطة على البيان التالي: تم تجميع هذه البيانات لفائدة جميع العاملين في مجال تجارة اللؤلؤ. قام المحرر بتجميع الخريطة من خرائط قديمة ومن زياراته الشخصية لمواقع الغوص على اللؤلؤ بين رأس أبو علي (المملكة العربية السعودية) ورؤوس الجبال (شبه جزيرة مسندم).
